If you like it relaxed, grungy and sometimes even a bit noisy, you’re going to love the Südstadt. They offer rather big meals for the smaller pocket, many of which are vegan. Next to their regulars they have a weekly changing menu, which features always a vegan dessert.
We especially love the gyros with vegan tzatziki, fries and a salad, as well as the tofu schnitzel with a cornflakes crust on a huge salad, both pictured below. The burger is not too shabby, either (monday is burger day).
There are often concerts and dj’s playing pop/rock, so there’s generally lots of music going on. The walls are plastered with old NME covers and other music magazines. They also have a footballer if you want to linger.
By the way, they are very dog friendly!
