I’ve been having trouble getting creative with cooked foods lately, all I crave are ice-cold batches of nicecream and smoothie bowls. One could say that is because it’s the beginning of summer and the temperatures are rising, but sadly there has been nothing but rain lately.
Maybe you’ve even heard about it, there were massive floods all over Bavaria and people have lost everything they own, some even their lives. I feel very blessed to not be affected, living less than 100 km away from the areas of crisis, and send all my good wishes over there. On a more positive note: refugees rolled up their sleeves and helped out big time! So much on them giving nothing back…
So this is my simple, yet delicious and nourishing chocolate smoothie bowl. Thanks to the avocado it has a very pudding-like consistency, which I absolutely adore! If you are afraid of tasting the avo just use a bit less (don’t be, though, it’s rather subtle and helping big time with the smoothness) and if you want to serve it as a pudding for dessert just leave out the plant-based milk for a thicker texture.
