You want to experience Bavaria to it’s fullest, including traditional bavarian food? Vegan traditional bavarian food? That’s not possible? I remember listening to Colleen’s podcast about eating vegan in Germany and had to laugh a lot. We might be called sausage country, but that’s just one side of Germany. Don’t be fooled, there’s vegan food everywhere.
If you still want a taste of real bavarian food though, you should absolutely visit Bodhi, an all vegan restaurant serving many bavarian dishes and more. Get your fair share of ‘Käsespätzle’ (some kind of noodle with cheese), meat with dumplings and blue kraut or ‘Kaiserschmarrn’ (pictured below, it’s like a scrambled pancake, with raisins and glazed – so good!!!).
They also offer nice burgers, big salads and very yummy cakes. They change their menu seasonally, which is always nice. Oh and they have an awesome brunch every Sunday for 18,90 including drinks. Make sure to make reservations!
